Custom Painted Converse & Vans

Q: Is the paint water resistant?
A: The paint is water resistant and the canvas of the shoe is treated with a fabric protector called Scotchgard.

Q: Can the footwear be cleaned or washed?
A: The footwear cannot be machine or hand washed as this could ruin the artwork. They can be wiped clean however with a damp cloth, no detergents.

Q: Do I need to provide the footwear?
A: No. I will source the footwear but you WILL need to provide your size, and double check that the size is correct.

Q: What sizes are available?
A: New born to Junior through to adult sizes are available. I can also offer half sizes.

Q: What is your size guide? UK, Europe, USA?
A: I source UK sizes but I’ve written this handy Converse size conversion guide. Please thoroughly check the size before ordering.

Portrait Service

Q: How exactly do you create portraits? Is this a modelling session?
A: I’m working strictly from high quality, clear photographs that you provide.

Q: Do I need to send a physical photo or can I email a digital image?
A: A digital image is preferred assuming it is high resolution.

Q: What size and format of digital image must I send?
A: A JPEG is fine but please make sure it is the highest resolution possible (300 PPI ideal).

Q: The photo I have is small and not clear. Can you enlarge this?
A: Your photo needs to be the highest quality possible to begin with. Seeing all the details is essential.

Q: When do I send the digital image?
A: Please let me examine the image prior to ordering and taking the deposit.

Q: How long does it take for you create a portrait start to finish?
A: At least one week. It depends on size, number of subjects, amount of detail and media.
